Phoenix is a full cycle underwriting system, currently available
in four European languages, incorporating insurance products that are tailored to
requirements, with full document production, storage and retrieval facilities.
Products can be complex, accommodating multi-currency and multi-country demands,
such as UK and European taxation regulations.
Phoenix has been designed to significantly reduce the time taken
to quote for and process Personal and Commercial Lines business. This is achieved
through windows-based technology and has proved to be successful in both call-centre
and the more traditional (proposal form-based) environments.
The underwriting system includes processes for rating, quotations,
policy issue, mid-term adjustments (endorsements), renewals (individual & batch) and
cancellations. Claims can be fully administered within Phoenix or linked to third party
software.
The use of web based reporting enables secure access to information
that supports third party claims handling as well as management control over remote
underwriting functions.
ePhoenix enables the
same functionality to be deployed easily to intermediaries (integrated with their
website if appropriate) and also facilitates a direct marketing approach.
Claims administration is optional, as is broker/client account
reconciliation and direct debiting through BACS.
