The policy enquiry function enables any transaction relating to a
policy to be viewed showing the exact details of cover at a point in time. An overview of
the cover, with details of the Premium and Tax, (both calculated and agreed) amounts are
also shown. 'Filtering' allows drill-down to details at the lowest level of cover.
From the policy enquiry screen the policy can be accessed and if
required further business transactions applied.
Renewal Parameters
Renewal parameters and stop conditions can be maintained, these will
then be applied for the appropriate period when the policy is prepared for renewal.
Billing and Statistical Information
The details of all related accounting information, including the current
state of any reconciled or billed items can be viewed. In addition statistical
information relating to the policy (including claims and reinsurance)
is also available.
Claims
Claims attached
to the policy can be viewed in summary form, or accessed to administer the claim.
Activity
Access to a full transaction history, workflow, document activity and
loss ratios is possible from policy enquiry.
